N2 - The PYME industry faces challenges to improve its way of work, many theories must be tested to ensure the efficiency of the implementation at this scale of companies. The addressed work evaluates an PYME in the baking sector, because of that the multi-criteria decision was tested based on AHP to provide 2 solutions linked to the improvement of machine maintenance and the inclusion of a first phase of automation based on timers to reduce losses and production costs. This latter was tested based on EOQ criteria, along with the simulation Montecarlo with 10000 scenarios for the VAN, which showed that proposed improvements are feasible to implement. Finally, it is demonstrated that the use of complex decision-making tools is fully practicable in PYME scale companies.
