N2 - TikTok has been one of the fastest-growing social networks in recent years. It has more than 1 billion active users so far. In that context, this study aims to answer the following research question: What is the trend of studies on the social network TikTok during COVID-19? Information was collected through systematic review (SR) and the PRISMA method. Seventeen articles were selected from the Scopus database. The information was analyzed and divided into four categories. The results indicate that, in general, TikTok is a platform that is not only used for entertainment but also as a study tool and information resource. However, mass production and poor control put content reliability at risk and challenge producers, users, and researchers interested in this social network.
