N2 - The central objective of this research work is to determine the impact of quality management tools on increasing process efficiency and reducing costs in an agroindustrial company in Virú, department of La Libertad, Perú. At the beginning, a comprehensive diagnosis of the current situation of the company is carried out, both in agricultural and industrial operations; for this purpose, statistical quality control tools were used. Determining 4 main causes of the company's poor results with their respective indicators: Lack of quality in fruit, lack of availability of qualified labor, lack of planning in dispatches and lack of a predictive maintenance program for critical equipment. The losses in the results generated by the described causes were monetized, which amounted to S/. 16’816,520.39. From the analysis carried out, the need to apply quality management tools to reduce the company's losses was determined. The tools used were the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) with its House of Quality, the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and the DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology. As a result of the application of quality management tools, losses were reduced by S/. 16’816,520.39 to S/. 10’636,277.99, obtaining a benefit for the company of S/. 6’180,242.41 and the Z level was increased in each of the indicators considered in agricultural and industrial operations.
