N2 - The present research work had the objective of analyzing the implementation of quality management tools to reduce operational costs in a wine company located in Cascas, La Libertad. For this purpose, an exhaustive diagnosis was carried out using the Ishikawa diagram, identifying the root causes of the main economic losses: delays in production due to lack of preventive maintenance, lack of qualified personnel, limited capacity in the bottling area and absence of standardized processes. Based on these findings, continuous improvement methodologies such as DMAIC Six Sigma, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Quality House (QFD) were applied to optimize production processes, improve operating efficiency, reduce waste and guarantee product quality. As a result, there was a significant reduction in operating costs, an increase in productivity, and improved personnel training, which contributed to a more efficient and profitable operation. The economic evaluation of the improvement proposal showed its viability, with a (NPV) of S/15,253.82 and an (IRR) of 40.63% that demonstrated the effectiveness of the implementation in a favorable payback period, evidencing that the proposed actions were economically profitable and sustainable in the long term.
