N2 - This research objective is to determine the impact of Quality Management tools on cost overrun reduction to increase coffee farms' production. A diagnosis on the productive areas of the company was carried out through Statistical Quality Control tools and loss costs. The process ended with the implementation of a proposal for improvement based on Quality Management tools, and the improvements were determined. Four causes for the cost overrun problems were determined: Lack of personnel for farm maintenance, lack of maintenance to the pulping machine, lack of yield in quintals per hectare of coffee and lack of coffee rate yield. After monetizing the root causes, the overrun costs added up to S/ 34,000.00 soles. When implementing the improvements resulting from the Quality Function Deployment (QFD), House of Quality, The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) recommendations and the DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology (Six Sigma), the loss due to overrun costs dropped to S/ 25,200.00 soles. Therefore, the application of Quality Management tools to improve the production of the coffee farm generated a benefit of S/ 8,800.00 soles.
