Abstract

Information and communication technologies are providing support in the perception of quality in services provided by state institutions, with a greater emphasis on public management. This article is developed from the perspective of the Peruvian reality, where there is a greater concentration of the population in coastal cities, with Lima being the main city with the largest share of the Peruvian population. Therefore, if we analyze the Peruvian reality, Lima presents deficiencies in Public Management, focused on the services provided to citizens. The problem is more concerning in other cities of the country. As a methodology, the technical considerations that must be taken into account to improve the perception of quality in the services provided to citizens are presented. As a result, we present a list of areas where technological solutions can be implemented to help manage public services for the benefit of the population.
