N2 - Its main objective was: To determine how the automation system based on renewable energies affects the cultivation of an orchard. The type of research was applied, the design was pre-experimental, the level was explanatory. Record cards were used as instruments for the pretest and posttest; the results obtained show that automation contributespositively to the cultivation of orchards, and that it is alsoessential to update the agricultural and planting procedures. It is concluded that the automation system based on renewable energies for the cultivation of an orchard allows the incorporation of tools as part of the daily routine, generating more production and avoiding the repetition of alreadyprogrammed tasks, as well as managing the environmental measures of the orchard.
