N2 - The main objective of this research is to provide a solid basis to warn about possible future landslides in Llushcapampa, recognized for its history of recurrent landslides. It is notable to note that, to date, exhaustive petrological studies have never been carried out to evaluate the quality of the rock material in this area. Therefore, this study focuses specifically on the volcanic rocks present in the area, carrying out a detailed analysis both macroscopic and microscopic. The results reveal a very poor quality in these rocks, which contributes significantly to the observed landslides. This discovery has crucial implications for the safety of the population and surrounding structures, highlighting the need to implement preventive and mitigating measures in the study area.
