Chimbote en Peligro: El Impacto Silencioso de la Contaminación Y El Poder de la Acción Comunitaria

In this article, the research focuses mainly on evidencing the critical deficiency of green and recreational spaces in the districts of Chimbote and Nuevo Chimbote that present high levels of pollution, also neglecting the approach of environmental and eco-friendly proposals for solve or reduce pollution in the city; Since it presents scenarios where said pollution directly affects people and the natural environment, we present case analyzes of projects in this category that will help understand its importance in cities with pollution problems. Nowadays, this problem in the districts runs rampant, as it is not addressed by the authorities or the population itself; It is important to emphasize the significant shortage of green areas, squares, squares and parks, occupying 63%, a figure that shows the non-existence of said areas and where more than half of these areas at the district level are in poor condition or with high pollution indices, adding that there are no Community Centers and Community Centers focused on environmental issues that seek the interaction of social and environmental spaces, encouraging the population to take care of the environment or hope to improve their environment.
