N2 - The main objective of this research study was to determine if there is a relationship between environmental awareness and the Impact on Demographic Growth in the Lomas de Carabayllo. The applied methodology had a mixed relational approach with a non-experimental design. Data collection was carried out in the Carabayllo district in areas surrounding and distant from Lomas de Primavera, using the survey and questionnaire technique as an instrument to 384 randomly selected people and selection criteria established in the research. The validity of the instrument was evaluated by experts within the field of environmental engineering and the reliability through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) tool, where Cronbach's alpha was used, whose value reached 0.915, demonstrating the reliability of this. To test the hypothesis, Spearman's Rho coefficient was used, obtaining a significance of 0.000027 with a confidence level of 99% and a correlation value of 0.212. The results identified were the following: It was determined that the level of environmental awareness of the sample is high, at 48%, and the level of impact on demographic growth is medium, at 58%, with the relationship between both variables being positive. weak. In conclusion, there is a relationship between environmental awareness and the impact on demographic growth in the Lomas de Carabayllo, where it can be evidenced through some events such as the sale of illegal land, illegal mining and various anthropic activities, which, if not managed properly, could threaten the preservation of this Regional Conservation Area.
