Abstract
The research project focuses on the development of a web-based system designed to improve epidemiological alert and surveillance. The main objective of the study is to determine the influence of the design of this system on the epidemiological alert and surveillance process. The methodology applied in this research is correlational in nature, using a quantitative approach. Through data analysis, we seek to establish relationships between key variables related to epidemiological surveillance. The main results of this project reveal that the developed system has the capacity to alert users about possible epidemiological outbreaks, providing information about their geolocation. This functionality enables more effective management of epidemiological surveillance, which in turn can contribute to the early identification and immediate control of epidemiological outbreaks.
