Abstract

The objective of this research was to design a Datamart for the cargo service in an SME in the transport sector. Which had a mixed approach, applied, prospective, cross-sectional, and non-experimental, where the cargo transport service and records of the logistics area were selected as part of the sample. It conducted an interview validated by expert judgment, in addition to the respective analysis of the records for the development of the research. It applied the methodology of Kimball for the development of the design of the Datamart, making the dimensional database, which allowed the development of the ETL subsystem, the elaboration of the OLAP Cube and achieve the visualization of indicators, in a BI tool, according to the established requirements, estimating a cost of S/. 48.814 for implementation.
