Diseño e implementación de 5S, ABC y gestión de residuos para reducir costos en una empresa textil Trujillo - Perú

The objective of this study is to determine the impact of the design and implementation of 5S, ABC and waste management on the costs of a textile company in the city of Trujillo, since problems were identified that were causing additional costs to the company in the areas of warehouse and production, generating a negative impact on the company's profits. This study is quantitative, with an experimental design, pre-experimental and application scope, with a finite population composed of all areas of a textile company and with a sample of two areas, the warehouse area and the production area. Implementing the 5S methodology along with ABC helped improve operational efficiency by reducing search time for tools and materials, optimizing workflow, and eliminating waste. Thus achieving theoretical production, increasing monetary benefits by S/1150.56 per month. With the implementation of waste management, the environmental impact was minimized and the costs associated with its disposal were reduced, reducing the percentage of waste from 22.39% to 10.48%, this represents a monetary benefit of S/673.12 per month. Likewise, economic indicators such as NPV, IRR, B/C and MARR were obtained, with values of S/. 13, 875.00, 33.91%, S/. 3.32 and 1.53% respectively. In conclusion, it was obtained that the implementation of 5S, ABC and waste management decreased the costs of the textile company, and in turn, improved effectiveness and productivity by obtaining greater profitability.
