Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze the coastal erosion of the beach or Balneario Toril de Paita after the coastal child phenomena in Paita, Piura, Peru. The research is treated in an exploratory and descriptive way, working with historical data and analysis of past events using Google Earth Pro satellite photographs. The equation shows a linear relationship between coastal erosion and time in years y = 616.76- 1E+06 and anR2 = 0.9222 suggesting that approximately 98.62% of the variability in the amount of coastal erosion can be explained by the independent variable, which is time (years). There are satellite photos from Google Earth Pro from 2005 to 2019, where 6 final events of the coastal El Niño phenomenon are analyzed, with intense rains that carry clay sediments from the hills to the beach, being the main factor that causes coastal erosion. All the beaches of the world have this erosion problem due to multiple factors.
