Abstract
Reports of pregnant patients with chronic kidney disease on hemodialysis (ERCHD) with successful births are becoming more frequent. In the Ministry of Health there are no official published records of patients on dialysis and pregnant patients in dialysis. A multicenter retrospective study was con ducted of the cases of patients with ERCHD who had successful births in public hospitals in Lima. We found 04 cases with sufficient data from the report. The patients had an average age of 29 years (DE: 4.8), with an average gestation time at the end of pregnancy of 30.5 weeks (DE: 3.69). Preeclampsia was the most frequent complication in 2 of 4 patients and all patients had less than 20 hours a week of treatment. The Ministry of Health should plan contingency measures for the management of these patients that will be increasingly frequent.
