Abstract

This research work is developed, taking into account that each organization, every day must make decisions that have an economic impact on business performance. For this reason, those who make decisions rely on computer tools to take advantage of the data generated and obtain discoveries that give a better understanding of the company and the market. Making the right decisions leads to better business management and more profits for the company, hence the importance of Business Intelligence for decision making. The objective of this systematic research of scientific literature focuses on analyzing the research carried out on the use of Business Intelligence for decision-making in the period 2017-2022. The databases used were: Dialnet, Scielo and Redalyc. The eligibility criteria were: Business Intelligence, Business Intelligence and Decision Making. The documents were classified by publication period, language, country of publication and study method; The methodology used was PRISMA and of the 111 documents collected, only 39 were selected. It is concluded that business intelligence is a topic of growing interest but that more Latin American countries still need to address it.
