N2 - This research was developed in the highlands of the department of Ancash, parallel to the Cordillera Blanca in Peru, NW of Huaraz with a distance of 57 km in the Piruro Punta hill where the Coraquilloc concession is located, this aims to conduct the geological study to identify exploratory targets in the Coraquilloc project, Huaylas, Ancash, 2023. This study involves geophysical and field work, which will provide detailed information on the mineralization and drilling plan in order to confirm and intercept mineralized zones, as well as to know the mining potential. Magnetic data was acquired consisting of 21 E/W lines every 100 m that were positioned and surveyed by means of a DGPS receiver included in the configuration of the magnetometer equipment; On the other hand, mapping and geological sampling works were carried out to corroborate the geophysical study, concluding that by means of the geological mapping, geochemical and geophysical analysis it is identified that Zone A (south) is the most favorable zone to perform a diamond drilling and determine exploratory targets since this zone has outstanding magnetic values due to its magnetic composition, some iron oxides, sulfides (Sph, Gn, Py, Cpy) and quartz veins mineralized in the Coraquilloc project.
