Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, para disminuir Riesgos Laborales en la Municipalidad Distrital Víctor Larco Herrera, Trujillo 2025

The study was carried out with the objective of assessing the effect of the occupational health and safety administration (GSST) on the reduction of occupational risks in the District Municipality of Víctor Larco Herrera, Trujillo, in the year 2025. The primary causes that increase the risks were recognized, such as the lack of safety training, ergonomic inconveniences, lack of order and cleanliness, and the absence of signage and updated risk maps, which caused annual expenses. S/ 65,160. To resolve these problems, various measures were implemented, among which stand out: a training program in occupational safety, the application of the OWAS method to improve employee ergonomics, and the creation of a risk map with adequate signage. These solutions made it possible to reduce workplace accidents, optimize productivity and improve the conditions of the work environment. Finally, the economic-financial evaluation of the improvements made reflected their viability, with an initial cost of S/ 35,830 and a projection of sustained benefits in terms of reduction of risks and costs associated with work incidents. This proposal increased the level of compliance by 69.61%, allowing occupational risks to be reduced.
