N2 - The implementation of the 9S tool in companies related to the food industry is important to optimize processes, currently many companies want to enter the international market. The 9S contains the known 5S but its addition of the remaining 4S generates better results through order, cleanliness, standardization, commitment and discipline, improving productivity and the work environment. As part of the implementation of the tool, the DAP of the analyzes of raw material and finished products was first carried out in order to reduce operations and times by eliminating waste that does not generate value. A weekly analysis plan was established so that the analysts are aware of the type of analysis that they must carry out per day, thus maintaining order and flow in the processes. With the proposed DAP it was possible to significantly reduce the times, in the case of the raw material a reduction of 10.15% per batch was obtained and in the finished products a 7.41%. All these improvements helped to optimize the processes in the quality control area and areas such as production and warehouse can know the results in real time, which also generates an optimization in the company's processes.
