N2 - Digital convergence over the last years has implemented several positive and negative aspects in the media. This scenario brings new challenges for traditional journalists, due to the emergence of technological tools that are the main areas of consumption today. To understand the subject, the following research question arose: What are the effects of digital convergence in digital journalism platforms over the last ten years? The information search was carried out using the Scopus database, with articles in Spanish in Ibero-America. The type of study used was the systematic review of the scientific literature, as well as the Prisma method. On the other hand, the information obtained from the articles found was divided into four categories. The limitations reported are related to the language and the scarce information on the subject in countries of the Latin American region. In conclusion, the analyzed works show that the effects of digital convergence caused drastic changes in the teaching and performance of journalism due to the emergence of digital platforms. The subject calls for further research due to its importance for future professionals in the field of Communications.
