N2 - The purpose of this research is to implement improvements with quality management tools in production processes, to reduce operational costs in a textile company. Bydesign, this research is diagnostic and propositional in nature, based on formal and exact science. Firstly, a diagnosis of the company's areas was carried out, using the Ishikawa diagram. Among the main causes evaluated that generate large economic losses for the company we have: lack of an adequate maintenance plan, lack of standardization of processes, lack of training for operators, lack of required raw materials. In this research, different engineering methodologies are applied such as: Quality House (QFD), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), DMAIC Six sigma. This allows improving processes within the company to guarantee the manufacturing of products in the estimated time to meet customer demands, avoiding delays and high costs due to unscheduled repairs, emergency raw material purchases, etc. The results of the engineering methodologies applied were: implementation of preventive maintenance on machinery, standardization in production processes to avoid waste, regular training plan for operators, raw material purchase order plan, in which a comparison. from current losses of S/116,553.38 to S/36,664.38 of improved losses. Likewise, the economic/financial evaluation of the improvement proposal was made, obtaining a Van of S/.168,030.66, with an IRR of 88.14%, with a recovery period of the total investment in 2.5 years and a B/C. of S/1.8, meaning that the proposal is feasible.
