N2 - A research study was conducted to reduce operational costs in the warehouse management process of an agro-exporting company through the application of quality tools. It begins with diagnosing the warehouse area of the company; identified causes included lack of warehouse distribution, insufficient training of personnel in software usage, inadequate product stock for servicing, and inadequate supplier management. The indicators of each cause were analyzed using statistical control and quality management tools. Tools such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD) with its Quality House, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology were employed. Upon concluding the research, the results were positive; the monetary loss associated with each root cause was reduced, and the statistical behavior of the investigated indicators improved; the Z-Level increased for each of the 4 indicators. The initial loss was S/53,275.17 soles, and the improved loss was S/23,775.00 soles, resulting in a benefit of S/29,500.17 soles.
