N2 - This study presents the implementation of quality management tools at Bakery, located in Virú, Peru. The aim is to optimize operational processes and reduce costs by analyzing the root causes, including equipment maintenance issues, lack of standardization in work methods, deficiencies in inventory control, and insufficient staff training. Methodologies such as the Ishikawa Diagram, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the DMAIC Six Sigma methodology were applied. The results showed a 76.48% reduction in economic losses, decreasing from S/152,226 to S/35,796 annually, with a net benefit of S/116,430. Statistical indicators revealed significant improvements in Z levels and Cpk, indicating more controlled and efficient processes. The financial analysis confirmed the project's feasibility, with a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/220,870.11, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 81.42%, and a payback period of 2.6 years. This model not only reduces costs and improves product quality but also enhances competitiveness, providing a scalable and sustainable solution for the bakery sector.
