N2 - This research focuses on a company based in Trujillo that specializes in producing nut butters. The company currently faces challenges such as high operating costs, product damage, raw material losses, additional expenses from unplanned downtime, and decreased production—issues that significantly impact its profitability. An initial analysis using an Ishikawa Diagram identified key root causes, including insufficient staffing, a lack of preventive maintenance, inconsistent input supply from vendors, and non-standardized production processes. To address these issues, quality management tools such as the Pareto Chart, QFD, FMEA, and the Six Sigma DMAIC methodology were proposed. These strategies targeted the root causes directly, leading to notable improvements in the organization, management, and control of the production process. Results included a substantial reduction in economic losses, fewer damaged products, increased production stability, reduced unplanned downtime, and an estimated annual benefit of S/.45,502.73—highlighting the positive impact of the implemented improvements.
