N2 - The objective of this study was to implement inventory management to reduce costs in an agroindustrial company in Olmos, Peru. The organization had identified certan problems related to order costs, storage costs, and administrative costs, negatively impacting its economic and financial stability due to poor inventory management. This research had a quantitative approach, was applied and explanatory in nature, with an experimental research design. Data collection instruments included an observation sheet and a document collection sheet, based on the dimensions and indicators of each variable (inventory management and costs). The sample consisted of critical inventory products for the company in 2022. The results showed savings of $167 in order costs, $3320 in storage costs, and $460 in administrative costs due to the implementation of inventory management. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant difference in the total logistics cost after implementing inventory management in an agro-industrial company in Olmos, Peru.
