Implementación de la Metodología 5S´s en las áreas de producción y almacén para incrementar la productividad en una empresa de calzado, Trujillo 2024

The research aimed to implement the 5S's methodology in the production and warehouse areas to increase the productivity of a footwear company, Trujillo 2024. By applying the 5 principles Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke that make up the methodology in the aforementioned areas, it is intended to solve the main problems that affect productivity in the footwear company, observation was used as a data collection technique. From the application of the methodology, an increase in productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of 34.11%, 26.50% and 17.67% was achieved for the production area and 37.18%, 25.50% and 25.90% for the warehouse area, respectively. In addition, regarding the economic-financial evaluation, a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/. 139,703, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 51.41% and Cost-Benefit (B/C) of 5. In summary, the implementation of this methodology in the mentioned areas allowed to increase productivity, obtaining positive results and great improvements in a footwear company.
