N2 - The effect of the influence of polypropylene fibers on the properties of concrete is studied, first explaining the deficiencies of concrete without fibers, and then looking at the definition and properties of polypropylene fibers. The necessary quantities of polypropylene fibers and concrete were also determined to have an adequate mixture, their compressive strength, tensile strength, toughness, impact resistance, flexural strength, permeability and contraction for drying. The presence of fibers in fresh concrete alters the consistency of the mix and decreases cracking, and in the case of the hardened state, it increases toughness and impact resistance and decreases drying shrinkage and cracking; the rest of the properties remain without relevant changes.
