N2 - The present investigation arises with the purpose of determining whether the inadequate final disposal of solid waste from the Rumiallana dump influences the quality of the soil through a quantitative approach, non-experimental design and with an explanatory scope. An identification sampling was carried out consisting of four monitoring stations within the area of influence and a field target control sample located 500 meters away; A 60 cm excavation was carried out, collecting 3 kg of soil to be transported to the laboratory accredited by INACAL for the determination of inorganic parameters (Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Arsenic (As), (Barium (B), Chromium VI, Mercury (Hg), Free Cyanide), in the same way the pH, electrical conductivity and percentage of organic matter are calculated. The results obtained concerning inorganic parameters were compared to DS 011-2017-MINAM while for pH it was taken as a reference DS N° 016-2009-AG.Concluding that the inadequate final disposal of solid waste influences the soil quality of the Rumiallana dump, as it was found that the heavy metals of Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb) and Arsenic (As)) are above the ECAs, and the pH is acidic, the electrical conductivity is high and the percentage of organic matter is low, and they are found to be contaminated and not suitable for use for agriculture or residential purposes.
