N2 - Access to and control of water represents a global challenge, aggravated by the scarcity of accessible tools for its management. Therefore, the objective of this research was to determine how a system influences the efficient control of water in homes. The study was based on a pre-experimental design, to include a population of 140 households in the city of Cajamarca and a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 10 households, which shows problems in the management of water resources and the insufficient tools available for this purpose. The results showed that the precision in measuring water resources through the system improved significantly, going from a value of 3.3 to 4.6, in addition to eliminating the error rate in said measurements and optimizing detection and response times at critical water levels. In conclusion, it is determined that the System composed of a mobile application and hardware positively influenced the efficient control of water in homes.
