N2 - Currently in Peru and in different parts of the world, the bamboo construction system is being used as one of the economic and ecological alternatives in housing construction. From modern combinations and ancestral techniques, seismic resistant designs are carried out. On the other hand, bamboo, being an element of natural origin, has some limitations compared to other conventional materials, therefore, by overcoming these disadvantages, a material suitable for the construction of stable and economical structures can be obtained. The objective of this research article is to determine the influence of bamboo (Guadua angustifolia) as a structural element for the construction of a two-story house compared to a masonry house, being a low-cost material, with less execution time and less environmental impact in the construction. construction.
