Abstract

The research question of this study is: What is the relationship between interculturality and discrimination in 4th and 5th year high school students at the Tupac Amaru II educational institution? The main objective is to analyze the relationship between interculturality and discrimination in 4th and 5th year high school students at the Tupac Amaru II educational institution. To achieve the aforementioned objective, a qualitative approach was used, since non-numerical information such as opinions, emotions, experiences or behaviors will be collected and analyzed in order to understand the attributes and characteristics of the population under study.Among the results, it is evident that of 100% of the students who were surveyed, at the 4th and 5th year levels of secondary school, 34% show a satisfactory appreciation, this indicates that a part of the students recognizes the cultural and social aspects that the practice of interculturality implies.Furthermore, through the Sankey diagram you can see how education plays a crucial role in the search for the relationship that exists between interculturality and discrimination. In conclusion, the data found in this research work highlight the relevance of promoting integrative education and promoting cultural sensitivity to address discriminatory attitudes and build a more respectful and constructive school environment.
