N2 - Internal communication is essential for any organization to manage its collaborators’ commitment to the mission, vision, and organizational values to promote loyalty and a sense of belonging. This research, developed as a systematic literature review, compiles the information available on the subject in the Scopus database for evidencing the material available in this platform on internal communication. The texts chosen corresponded to the last 5 years (2019–2023), written in Spanish and open access. The information was systematized according to the PRISMA guide. After applying the inclusion and exclusion filters, 10 of 106 scientific articles were selected. The review allows an analysis of the strategies and tools used by corporate communicators in organizations to improve internal communication management and the new or reinvented strategies (many of them digital) that have emerged during or after the COVID-19 pandemic. In conclusion, the purpose of internal communication is to demonstrate that companies adapt according to the context through strategies and engage the internal public with the company through various actions that promote motivation and participation in them, creating an appropriate and prosperous work environment.
