N2 - The present investigation was carried out in order to determine the impact of the application of Integer and Binary Linear Programming on the profits and the sales decision of hair products, in the hair salon “FRANK OLIVOS SALÓN Y SPA”, dedicated to the sector. hair care, with the sale of various hair products from different brands. For this purpose, Integer Linear Programming was applied to achieve optimal solutions and increased profits, and Binary Programming was applied to decide which hair products to invest in in greater quantities. For which integer linear programming modeling was carried out and applied, characterized in that an optimization problem is modeled using only linear inequalities, where for each problem each of the decision variables and restrictions are specified, having integer values as a result., achieving greater efficiency in hair salon management by finding optimal solutions through the various stages of the problem. Likewise, binary programming also intervened, characterized by being efficient in “Yes or No” type decision-making problems, thus allowing the most optimal decisions to be made in the hair salon with respect to hair products. Both models maximized profits and improved decision-making about which hair products to invest in.
