N2 - This study examines how scientific literature addresses the integration of LegalTech in developing technological competencies in legal education. A systematic search was carried out in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and ProQuest, using the keywords 'legaltech' and 'education', identifying 20 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results highlight those tools such as artificial intelligence and document automation, as part of LegalTech, have become indispensable in both legal practice and in the training of lawyers, requiring law schools to adapt their curricula to include these competencies. However, the adoption of LegalTech in education faces challenges, such as teacher training and unequal access to advanced technologies. Despite the potential risks, such as decreased critical thinking, the study concludes that LegalTech can significantly improve students' preparation for the contemporary job market, provided it is implemented in a balanced and ethical manner.
