N2 - Information and communication technologies provide technological tools to provide solutions to many problems, one of them dedicated to take care of students in schools, to try to monitor the location and thus to minimize the effects of possible abuse among students. This research study presents a low-cost system based on an IoT sensor that emits location at all times as well as has an emergency alarm that warns if the student has any difficulty. The results allow to evaluate its implementation in educational centers, where teachers can monitor students. As a conclusion we can indicate the practicality of the implementation due to the low cost of the implementation and the ease of use of the device.
