N2 - The present research aimed to identify the factors associated with the publication of scientific articles in university faculty members at the national level in Peru as of December 2021. The population consisted of all university faculty members in Peru who were employed at public and/or private universities during the study period. For the sample, an unknown population was considered, with a 95% confidence level. A non-probabilistic sampling method, specifically referral or snowball sampling, was used, resulting in a sample of 208 university faculty members nationwide. The results revealed that the sociodemographic factors associated with the publication of scientific articles in indexed journals were age and marital status. Economic and occupational factors associated with the publication of scientific articles included academic degree, years of experience in university teaching, lack of teaching categorization, and belonging to the field of sciences, all of which were considered significant for the proposed model. The technological factor, such as the level of use of technological resources, was directly associated with the publication of scientific articles in university faculty members. Finally, the proposed model demonstrated excellent predictive power.
