N2 - Nanotechnology has been showing potential applications in various areas of research, including crops where new mechanisms are being found to aid the plant in absorption processes resulting in a substantial improvement in growth kinetics, physiological and biochemical traits, and high biocompatibility. This research aimed to investigate the influence of biogenic zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) concentration on in vitro germination process in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) seeds. The used nanoparticles exhibited a spherical geometry and sizes of up to 5.36 nm. The results showed the stimulation of nanoparticle concentration on the germination rate among treatments, as well as a notable improvement in root development. No phytotoxicity was detected..
