N2 - The research aims to measure the relationship between occupational commitment and job satisfaction in an agroindustrial company in the city of Piura, Peru, considering the clear influence that exists between the two variables. Using instruments validated on the Uwes scale (Ultrech Work Engagement Scale) and the Meliá and Peiró job satisfaction scale, the variables in question were measured, likewise the study considered a population subject to the study of 201 workers, obtaining as main results that of the total number of workers that make up the operational staff of the company during the 2019 period; 62.7% (126 workers) present a medium level of work commitment and 37.3% (75 workers) a low level; 77.6% (156 employees) present a medium level of job satisfaction, while 10.4% (21 employees) a low level and, finally, 11.9% (24 employees) a high level of job satisfaction. The Spearman correlation (r = 0.814) determined a significant relationship between occupational engagement and job satisfaction of the operating personnel of the agroindustrial company and that the value of p (0.000) is less than the level of significance (α = 0.05).
