N2 - In the present investigation, the footwear industry is shown as an important pillar in the national industry due to the influence and concern that it carries today post-pandemic in this industry, therefore the objective is to determine the impact of the improvement proposal of production according to Time Study, MRP and Line Balance in the cost overruns of a Trujillano Footwear company. This study is of a quantitative, applicative, or use type and with a descriptive and purposeful design. With a study population in production operations and with an evaluation sample in 2021 with a projection until 2026. As data collection techniques, an interview and a documentary analysis were used, with which it was obtained As a result, the implementation of these tools presents a positive impact on the footwear company, reducing its cost overruns generated by economic losses in 2021, with an implementation cost of S/10, 692 and a profit of 7.72%. In conclusion, it is determined that the implemented tools managed to reduce the cost overruns generated in the production area of the footwear company.
