Propuesta de mejora en la pérdida monetaria por problemas en la Gestión de Calidad en la empresa NEPT COMPUTER S.R.L. Trujillo, 2023

The purpose of this research is to present a proposal for improvement in monetary loss due to quality management issues in NEPT COMPUTER S.R.L company in Trujillo, 2023. An exploratory and descriptive study was conducted, along with the implementation of QFD-House of Quality, FMEA Matrix, and Six-Sigma for each root cause identified in the company, to increase its profitability with available resources. The objective is to analyze the proposal for improvement in monetary loss due to quality management issues in NEPT COMPUTER S.R.L company. The hypothesis is that the proposal for improvement in monetary loss due to quality management issues in NEPT COMPUTER S.R.L company is positively related to the dependent variable of monetary loss and the independent variable of quality management improvement proposal. The Ishikawa Diagram was utilized to identify 5 root causes, such as lack of equipment maintenance, poor sales planning, absence in warranty module, inadequate warehouse distribution, and inefficient employee training. The Pareto Diagram identified inefficient employee training with 50.97% and poor stock rotation with 47.32% as two of the five root causes. These were due to a misguided focus on the company's goals, but the proposed improvement plan provided a solution. Results showed a profit of S/121,305.00, thus concluding that implementing quality improvement proposals in NEPT COMPUTER S.R.L company decreases costs and contributes to efficient resource utilization.
