Abstract

In this research, the company dedicated to the production of balanced food aimed to reduce its cost overruns, increase production, and meet demand. This is why the main objective was to determine the influence of extra costs with the implementation of the logistics and production improvement proposal according to Line Balancing, ABC Classification, and MRP II in balanced food companies. This study was descriptive and propositional in nature, as data was collected from a process, then diagnosed, evaluated, and analyzed, culminating in the improvement proposal. The study population consisted of personnel in the logistics and production areas, with a sample evaluated from March 2021 to March 2022. Engineering tools were used for data analysis, resulting in a 48% reduction in excess costs, equivalent to S/ 2,151,916.58, generated in the logistics and production area.
