N2 - The research carried out sought to determine to what extent the proposal for improvement in maintenance and logistics according to linear programming theory, KPI and EOQ influences the cost overruns of the company Transportes Joselito S.A.C. Visits were made to the company, interviews with the heads of the analyzed areas and a review of documents delivered by them; then the respective mathematical calculations of the collected data. It was determined that the cost overruns in both areas were S/108, 182.27. An improvement proposal was designed integrating linear programming, KPI, EOQ and the results of implementing it in the company were simulated in ProModel. It was determined that the cost overruns after the improvement proposal represented a reduction of 85.64% and a monetary benefit of S/92, 648.08. The proposal obtained an IRR of 68%, a NPV of S/25, 285.05 and a B/C of 3.29, indicating that it is profitable to implement it.
