Abstract

The present research work was carried out with the objective of analyzing the characteristics of the water consumption of corn crops on an agricultural farm in Chepen in 2021 and the aspects that must be considered from the SCRUM methodology to propose an automated irrigation system. The type of study was descriptivepropositive study; with a sample consisting of 4 hectares. For the data collection, a survey was applied to each cultivated hectare of the farm, which allowed us to make at diagnosis for the to dimension. For the development of the submitted proposal, the theoretical framework corresponding to SCRUM was taken as a reference. The dimensions included in the water consumption were availability of water resources and unsatisfied demand, while the propositional aspects considered in the proposal of the automated irrigation system were ability to measure environmental parameters and level of irrigation control. Likewise, the thematic aspects on which The SCRUM methodology was analyzed were roles, events, artifacts. The results obtained showed that an automated irrigation system is able to irrigate optimally a corn crop throughout its growth stage with different environmental factors for and against. Based on the above, we can conclude that an automated irrigation system is able to irrigate a corn crop improving the water efficiency.
