Abstract
The present research work was carried out with the objective of determining the influence of an intelligent irrigation system with renewable energy on the water control and maize growth, in the town of Callancas, Otuzco in 2019. The type of study was quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group, with two samples consisting of 56 maize plants each. Data collection was done using observation sheets. For the data analysis was used the Z Test and the XLSTAT software, which facilitated the data interpretation and the graphs elaboration. The dimension included in the water control is the volume of water consumption and in the maize growth is the maize growth rate. The results obtained evidenced that in the water control was an improvement of 75.6% and that the maize growth improved in a 9.6% compared with the groove irrigation. Based on the mentioned previously, we can conclude that indeed the intelligent irrigation system with renewable energy had a positive influence on water control and maize growth.
