N2 - Radial vortices are exotic magnetic configurations that have several potential applications in Spintronics. In this paper, using micromagnetic simulation, we have proved that magnetic radial vortices can also be found in elliptic nanostructures, and have obtained the frequencies of their spin wave modes as a function of the sizes and ellipticity of the structures (here, we have defined the ellipticity as the ratio of the major axis to the minor axis D=Dx/Dy). Our results show that the size of the core of the magnetic radial vortex is not dependent on D. We have also obtained the spatial distribution of Fourier transform power spectra of the spin wave modes. Our results show that the variation in the values of D leads to the emergence of new spin wave modes, and that in general, the increase in the values of D leads to a decrease in the values of the frequencies of the spin wave modes.
