Abstract

Globalization has influenced the productive sector in various ways, demanding greater competitiveness from companies, where international logistics management has become relevant as a support for their productivity, allowing efficient management of resources and processes, and it is here where small and medium-sized companies can benefit by optimizing their performance. The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between international logistics management and the competitiveness of the company AOM Suministros Industriales S.A.C., located in Cercado de Lima in Peru. Likewise, the relationship of this variable with the dimensions of productivity, quality, and business management is determined. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a positive reliability of 0.790 and 0.868 for each of the variables, respectively. The study variables were analyzed through a quantitative, correlational, non-experimental cross-sectional design approach. The Shapiro-Wilk statistical test was applied to calculate normality. The results obtained show that the correlation between the international logistics management variable and competitiveness is significant with a value of 0.90, according to the calculation of Pearson's coefficient. Regarding the correlation of the international logistics management variable and the dimensions of the competitiveness variable, we have that the value obtained for the productivity dimension is 0.782, for the quality dimension it is 0.780; while for the business management dimension, there is a correlation value of 0.786, therefore the results are significant. In view of this, it is concluded that there is a significant correlation between the variables of international logistics management and competitiveness.
