N2 - The present investigation had as main objective to determine the variation of the compressive strength of concrete specimens of f'c 210 kg/cm2 when incorporating stirrups and spirals as transversal reinforcements in different distributions in the region of Cajamarca-2022. The methodology followed consists of an experimental design, in which 48 test tubes were made by curing times at 7, 14 and 28 days, having a total of 144 cylindrical witnesses. Follow ASTM C39 to evaluate the strength of cylindrical cores. As a result, it will be prolonged that the average resistance of the samples with spirals exceeds the values reached of the controls with stirrups, this in the three curing times, thus obtaining for the age of 7 days a maximum resistance of 209,263 kg/cm2 with a spacing of 8.33 cm, for the age of 14 days, a resistance of 222.654 kg/cm2 at a spacing of 6.25cm and at the age of 28 days a maximum resistance of 315.107 kg/cm2 at a spacing of 5.00 cm, all of these at incorporate spirals. Thus, when comparing results, it was shown that the variation of the resistance of the specimens with the type of spiral reinforcement exceeded the controls reinforced with stirrups.
