Abstract

This systematic literature review explores how gamification in legal education might be beneficial by looking at how elements of game design can be included into online courses. There has been scant and disjointed investigation on the extent to which gamification can improve the quality of legal education. This study examines the connection between gamification and other digital education techniques and resources by examining empirical and theoretical studies to offer an overview of the current state of research. This study helps move the growing and promising field of gamification in legal education forward despite the hurdles given by the diversity and complexity of concepts and methodological methods.
