Aplicación del Lean Manufacturing para mejorar la productividad en una empresa de calzado, Trujillo, 2024

The objective of the research was to determine the influence of the application of Lean Manufacturing on productivity in a footwear company (Trujillo, 2024).In addition, a quantitative, descriptive, pre-experimental study was conducted, with a sample consisting of the records of the production area of a footwear company in Trujillo in the year 2024. The record card was used as an instrument to collect each of the data. The results demonstrated that the implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, namely TPM, 5S and Kaizen, exerted a significant positive influence on the company's performance. Consequently, production stabilised and attained more uniform levels, signifying a substantial augmentation in production capacity from 10.78 pcs. H-H to 18.83 pcs. H-H; in addition to a Net Present Value (NPV) of S$53,106 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 29.50%.It was concluded that the appropriate application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies generates a considerable positive impact on the productivity of companies in the footwear sector.
