Resumen

The objective of the study is to publicize the current state of the application of Artificial Intelligence in Criminal Justice in comparative law. Describe which justice actors and operators apply it, and account for the motivation for its use in specific cases, through a systematic review of the scientific literature. For this, 66 papers obtained from the Scopus, Scielo, and Dialnet databases were reviewed. Among its results it was found that the largest number of authors investigated the application of Artificial Intelligence in the Judicial System; The cases in which artificial intelligence are most applied is for the prevention/prediction of crimes and judicial decision-making. It was concluded that although the risks of using artificial intelligence are unavoidable, it is also unavoidable that its use has significant benefits; Therefore, it is necessary to establish control points before, during, and after its implementation.
